LUX Consignor Agreement Terms & Conditions

LUX accepts most upscale ladies’ and men’s designer, clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories, & beauty products.  Inventory must be in season.

___­­­­___  ­­Consignors May Consign A Maximum Of 30 CLOTHING & 30 SHOES, PER GENDER, & BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  LUX CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH HANGERS IF NEEDED. ALL OTHER ITEMS DO NOT REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT OR HAVE A MAXIMUM LIMIT. EXAMPLE ITEMS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT, HANDBAGS, WALLETS, SUNGLASSES, JEWELRY, WATCHES, BEAUTY ITEMS.

___­­­­_____ All Clothing Items must be on hangers, clean, wrinkle free, hair free and in like new condition for immediate tagging.  Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.

___­­­­____ Consignment term is a minimum of 75 days on colored tag items, and 90 day minimum on all other items.  Items are placed for sale based on space availability.  Select couture (white tag) items and jewelry are kept up to a year at the discretion of LUX.  LUX will discount color tag items 25%, 50%, and 75% during the consignment term depending on the age of inventory item. All items are subject to an additional 20-25% off with in-store coupons and sales throughout the consignment term.

___­­­­____ All items become the property of LUX during the 75-90 day consignment term.  If a consignor wishes to end the consignment term before the 90 day period there will be a cancelation fee of $5/ or 5%, whichever is greater, of the resale value of the item.  LUX reserves the right to give an account cash pay off on any account(s) to close out or end a consignment term early at their discretion, or at the request of the consignor if the period falls before the 75-90 day consignment term.

___­­­­____ After the consignment term ends LUX will give a COURTESY phone call to pick up your unsold item(s).  If no phone number is provided you will not be contacted.  All unclaimed items will then be donated to charity and or become the property of LUX.  If you do not receive a phone call all your items have sold, and you have monies to pick up or use in store credit.

___­­­­____ Consignors may use any monies earned as-store credit for an additional 10% profit earrings on the available balance on any business day.

___­­­­_____Consignor's may pick up any monies earned via Cash In Store, or Via electronic transfer by  Zelle. Please call ahead & allow 48 hours for all electronic transfers to process.

Consignor Percentage of Profits

Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories; Consignors Receive 40% of the sale when the item sells

​

Jewelry: Consignors receive 50% of the sale when the item sells

​

Designer Handbags & Wallets; Consignors Receive 50% of the sale when the item sells

ITEMS PRICED $499-$999 RECEIVE 60% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE

ITEMS PRICED $1000- $4999 RECEIVE 80% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE

​

ITEMS PRICED $5000 & ABOVE RECEIVE 85% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE
